After wiring, test continuity and insulation with a multimeter: no short circuit between any cores, and the insulation resistance between cores, as well as between core and shell, is ≥100MΩ@500V DC.
Tighten the nut after mating, lightly pull the cable and there is no falling off; shake the connector during the multimeter test, and the reading has no jump , indicating firm fixation and good contact.
Technical Note: This two-step inspection method can quickly eliminate common on-site installation problems such as wrong wiring, short circuit, virtual welding and loose mating; it is recommended to conduct a full inspection before the equipment is powered on to avoid electrical faults.
