① Improper Overexertion in Operation

Cause : Excessive force during installation or mating causes instantaneous stress concentration and leads to plastic shell cracking.
Solution : Install and mate with gentle operation, take and place the connector carefully to avoid brute force operation.

② Extreme Low Temperature Environment

Cause : When the ambient temperature is lower than -40℃, the plastic material becomes brittle and cracks due to slight impact or extrusion.
Solution : Customize connectors with low temperature resistant and toughened material shells for ultra-low temperature application scenarios.

③ Inferior Recycled Material Shell

Cause : The shell is made of low-quality recycled materials with insufficient mechanical strength and poor toughness, which is easy to crack under normal use.
Solution : Replace with brand new original factory connectors, select genuine products with pure raw material shells to ensure material strength.

Technical Note: Cracking of plastic shell M9 connectors is irreversible damage and cannot be repaired by bonding; it is recommended to select original factory connectors with material certification, and standardize on-site operation to avoid unnecessary mechanical damage to the shell.
